Technology Services

Our mission is to promote students and faculty to explore, create, and collaborate using current technologies that are integrated into our learning environment. We utilize and maintain a rich data ecosystem that assists in leading the school with academic and business solutions. We also provide leadership for data-driven decisions that focuses on teaching and learning. 

The Technology Department supports a 1:1 interactive student-centered environment with an innovative Technology Support Center and a caring and well trained support team. The Technology Support Center is open to staff and students from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm on Monday - Friday. 

iPad 1:1 Program

At Cathedral, we use iPads as an educational tool that allows teachers to differentiate instruction and give students the creative freedom to explore learning in new and exciting ways.

iPads are a required device for all students. Each student is required to bring their iPad to school and to class every single day.

Mosyle
Mosyle is a program that will be downloaded to your iPad during a students orientation. The software offers time-based restrictions on Apps so a student will remain focused on classwork during school hours. Mosyle also provides malware protection, automated security compliance review and remediation, user privilege management and online threat protection

Getting your iPad ready for Cathedral:

 

To get the iPad ready to use for the first day of school, each new student (incoming freshman or transfer students) will need to attend Onboarding and Technology Orientation Day during the summer. The technology team will work directly with students to upload needed programs and apps.
