Christian Service

As a Catholic School in the Holy Cross Tradition, Cathedral High School requires all students to participate in our Christian Service Program. Rooted in the Holy Cross mission to "hope for a world where justice and love prevail,” our Christian Service Program requires our students to embrace serving the community. Living the Holy Cross Value of Option for the Poor, students develop a lifelong commitment to serving their community.

By dedicating their time and efforts to those in need, students bring hope and support to individuals facing hardships.

Freshmen and sophomores at Cathedral are required to fulfill service experiences that help their community. Freshmen are required to complete three service experiences per semester and sophomores are expected to serve 6 times per semester. During junior year, students will begin planning and developing their St. Andre Project.

Christian service at Cathedral is more than just a requirement—it is a way to transform lives and build a more compassionate and just society.
