Dads' Club

The Cathedral Dads' Club is a group that comes together for fellowship and service at Cathedral. Members of the Dads' Club volunteer at service projects around Cathedral to help keep our school as a great place for our kids. Past projects have included landscaping, painting, and building storage shelves. An important part of the Dads' Club is the fellowship we provide to each other. We aim for monthly social and service events to give dads a chance to network with other Irish dads!

    • We have numerous woodworking projects around campus to get completed! Some of the projects include: Build an unboxing & folding table for the Spirit Shop, convert an old unused closet into a "presidential library" bookshelf, build some platforms around the new outdoor water fountains to keep shoes out of the mud

  • Saturday April 8th - Cleanup Football Field for Easter Egg Hunt

    • Times/details will be released as we near the event, but Cathedral hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt on the football field.  We have been asked to help cleanup the area to make sure it's safe & presentable for all the young kids running around.

  • Saturday April 15th 8am to Noon - Campus Cleanup Projects

    • Similar to previous campus cleanup projects, we have the opportunity to make a huge impact on keeping the campus beautiful.  Some of the projects include:

      • Moving boulders to make room for an upcoming bike rack area (Mr. Bissmeyer is bringing his skid steer to help move these boulders...thanks!)

      • Cutting down dead trees

      • Trimming back overgrowth from football & tennis court fence lines

      • Clearing an overgrowth area down by the river (anyone have a brush hog they can bring???)

      • Trail maintenance

  • Saturday May 20th - Assist with Graduation Parking
    • In years past, we have helped direct parking for Prom, but this year Prom is at the Children's Museum so students will be parking in a parking garage so our services are not needed there.  However, we have been asked to help with parking at Graduation at Brunette Park.
