It is with great sadness and a heavy heart we share the passing of Lendon Byram '22. We ask that you please pray for Lendon's family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace."
The counseling staff will be on campus on Monday, May 3rd from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Library. The counselors will be available to educators, students, and families to help the healing process and provide additional resources.
"I was Lendon's 5th-grade teacher. He was the most knowledgeable kid I have ever met about comics and taught me things about superheroes that still blows my mind. He was an incredibly talented artist and was passionate about expressing himself. I still have a drawing he made me in my classroom and it has been on display since he walked out the doors of North Elementary. My heart is breaking knowing that he is gone and also I'm grateful that I had time with him and a role in his life. I will always remember Lendon fondly and as one of my students who was truly one of a kind. Sending prayers and love to his family and friends."
"Lendon was brilliant. He read widely, was well spoken, a great speech and debate team member, incredibly interesting to talk to, and just a great young man."
"Lendon was a smart, promising young man and a great friend to our son. Our hearts are heavy and our thoughts and prayers are with his parents, family, and friends."
"Lendon will always be remembered as a bright, caring and creative boy. His future was limitless."
