2017 Cathedral Mothers’ Club September Program
Visit the Cathedral Mothers’ Club Facebook page for updates or look for information in the Parent Newsletter.
What: The Cathedral Mothers Club presents, “The Imperfect Storm: A Mother’s Story” featuring guest speaker Dawn Finbloom. In 2012, Dawn’s 18-year old son Brett, a Carmel High School graduate, died from alcohol poisoning shortly before he was to start his freshman year at college. Since their tragic loss, Dawn and her husband have been empowering other teens and their families with life-saving knowledge. Their hope is to educate about the warning signs of alcohol poisoning, the dangers of binge drinking, and to make good decisions so another family doesn’t lose their teenage child.
Senator Jim Merritt, author of Indiana’s Lifeline Law, will make introductions.
