Ways to Give

When you make an outright gift to Cathedral, your contribution can be put to work immediately - either providing funding for current programs or creating a reliable source of future income by expanding the high school's endowment. 

Cash gifts are the simplest and easiest gifts you can make. You can make a cash gift with cash as well as via personal check, cashier's check or money order (payable to Cathedral High School).

Scholarship Granting Organization
Scholarship Granting Organization's (SGO) allow our donors to make a gift to Cathedral that directly benefit the scholarships awarded to our most penurious students.  A School Scholarship Tax Credit is available to individuals or corporations who donate to SGO's for the purpose of supporting Cathedral's students.

Gifts of Stock, Bonds and Securities
Gifts of securities, stocks, and bonds can provide considerable tax advantages when transferred to Cathedral High School before they are sold (in the case of appreciated holdings) or after they are sold (in the case of depreciated holdings).

Matching Gifts 
Does your employer have a company matching gift program? Many companies and organizations will match an employee's charitable contributions dollar-for-dollar. Click here to learn more about setting up a matching gift. 

Planned Giving
Deferred or planned gifts - including bequests, life-income plans, life insurance, and other options for your estate - can help you combine your interest in making an ultimate gift to Cathedral while increasing your income, earning valuable income-tax deductions, and reducing your estate taxes. Reward Programs
There are a number of local companies and businesses throughout Indianapolis and Central Indiana that provide some great rewards programs for schools.  These programs help provide necessary supplies and funding to help advance learning in the classroom.
