Events
In addition to the Cathedral Fund and other annual fundraising efforts, several fundraising events provide annual support and benefit the Cathedral Family of Funds which supports academic and faculty initiatives, the arts, athletics, technology initiatives, and tuition assistance, or wherever Cathedral needs it most!

44th Annual ShamrAuction
Hard Hats & High Heels - VIRTUAL EVENT
Cathedral has weathered the unique circumstances of our current school year with an Irish twist, and we feel compelled to do so once again with ShamrAuction as scheduled this coming February. The safety and wellbeing of our Irish community is our number one priority and after months of weighing options and soliciting advice from patrons we've chosen to take the 44th annual event, ShamrAuction: Hard Hats & High Heels...VIRTUAL.
By utilizing an online platform we hope to engage even more members of our community as we'll invite EVERYONE to participate online on Saturday, February 27, 2021. If you've never been to ShamrAuction, this would be the year to tune in to see what it's all about. And if you are a loyal attendee then I know you'll be online to bid on all the amazing silent and live auction items we'll have available!
While "tickets" won't be sold to attend, we would encourage you to review our revised sponsorship options (swag included) as well as underwriting opportunities. ShamrAuction is an essential part of Cathedral's operating revenue with funds raised going to support our need-based tuition assistance program which impacts over 35% of our students and we are confident our community will ensure this event is a success!

Greatness is Calling...Empowering the Women Around Us
The goal of this years Forever Irish Ladies Luncheon is to give the Cathedral community (students, current parents, alumni, etc.) the opportunity to discuss issues faced by women - whether it be “breaking the glass ceiling” when it comes to leadership in the workplace, maintaining a work/life balance, or bridging the visibility gap in honoring the unsung female pioneers. This motivational event will enable attendees to learn best practices other women leaders have adopted, learn how to be an effective ally to others, and learn how to create and celebrate a culture of diversity.
In addition to an informative and uplifting panel discussion guests will enjoy lunch as well as an opportunity to shop with local vendors that have been historically supportive of our Cathedral community. All retailers also donate a portion of their back to Cathedral.
