The Cathedral Fund makes it possible to continue the mission of Cathedral High School through vital unrestricted giving. Annual gifts of any size to the Cathedral Fund are utilized to provide tuition assistance, classroom equipment, support areas of greatest need, teacher development, athletics and more. Gifts to our Cathedral Fund enable us to continue to fulfill the mission of enrolling students from all walks of life, ensuring affordability, attracting phenomenal teachers, and providing the space in which to change lives.
Indiana tax rule provides that a School Scholarship Tax Credit be available to individuals or corporations who donate to a Scholarship Granting Organization for the purpose of supporting Cathedral's students. All SGO donations are eligible for a 50% STATE TAX CREDIT (not a deduction) which allows donors to minimize state taxes paid on a current year's income. For more information or to make a gift to a participating SGO please visit our SGO section of the website. If you have questions regarding the SGO, please contact Abbe Ernstes, email@example.com.
Each year, members of the Cathedral family and the community attend one or more of the various event fundraisers. The most prominent of these events is the annual ShamrAuction, while there are others such as Trivia Night and the Father Kelly Tradition Golf Outing. If you have a question about an upcoming event please contact the events department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cathedral students help support the diversity of their very own student body by participating in the annual Luck of the Leprechaun - Student Raffle each year. For 2020, the raffle has been modified to a student fundraiser. If you have any questions about student fundraising please contact Nicole Beasley, Vice President for Advancement, at 317.968.7383.
Gifts of Stock, Bonds and Securities
Gifts of securities, stocks, and bonds can provide considerable tax advantages when transferred to Cathedral High School before they are sold (in the case of appreciated holdings) or after they are sold (in the case of depreciated holdings).
