What is a Shadow Day?
Come be a VIP—“Very IRISH Person”—for a day! We invite all 8th-grade students, or students currently in high school considering transferring to Cathedral, to spend a day in the life of one of our students, meeting teachers, attending classes and experiencing what being IRISH is all about!

Who will I shadow?
Visiting students will be hosted by a freshman or sophomore student (or someone in their same grade if already in high school) who has similar co-curricular interests and/or academic abilities.

What about lunch?
Shadow visitors will be provided a complimentary lunch ticket, although they also are welcome to bring a sack lunch.

What should I wear?
Visitors should wear casual clothing suitable for school. No shorts are allowed, and no jeans are permitted unless your student is scheduled to visit on a designated "jeans day." Sport shoes such as sneakers, tennis shoes, etc. are permitted.

When can I shadow?
Between mid-September and mid-December, over 35 days are available to select from on the registration form! Please note the start time varies depending on the school schedule for the day.

How do I register?
Click here to register and select "Shadow Day" on the form.

Who do I contact with questions?
Please contact Maribeth Cloud in the Admissions Office with any questions about your shadow day experience. Maribeth can be reached at mcloud@gocathedral.com or (317) 968-7353.

We look forward to your VIP day at Cathedral!
