Greatness is Calling at Cathedral
Hear from alumni and past parents about how Cathedral transforms the hearts and minds of her students.
Cathedral prepared me for my path in the military by teaching me always to challenge myself and constantly raise my personal standards. I carried these lessons along with the faith-driven principles throughout the United States Naval Academy and even now as a Marine Corps Officer.

Why did the Schopper family drive 20+ miles each way over the course of eleven years to attend high school? The key word in that sentence is certainly "family." Our kids were all good students, but we wanted a school that offered more than just class work, so the decision-making process when our oldest was in 8th grade also involved looking at the strengths and weaknesses of each child in our family. Cathedral's class offerings and rigor are top-notch. The college advisors know the kids and truly are "counselors" in that decision-making process. Cathedral checked most of our boxes initially, and in retrospect, we wouldn't hesitate to make the same decision for another eleven years. Why?. In the words of wonderful teacher Howard Fogel during a commencement speech explaining the Cathedral phenomena, "It's who we are, it's what we do."'

The faculty and staff at Cathedral have prepared me not only to succeed academically and athletically but have also helped form me into a more complete leader and person. Cathedral provided me with the environment to grow into who I am today. The experience in electives like broadcasting and newspaper helped me find my passions and potential career path.
