Choice Scholarship

Cathedral High School is a participating school in the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program (known widely as the "Voucher" program). Through this program, families can receive an Indiana Choice Scholarship and reduce their tuition bill. Award amounts vary by school district.

We believe that our participation in this program is consistent with our mission which, in part, calls for us to provide "to a diverse group of students" a holistic education rooted in Holy Cross values.

To get an estimate of your Choice Scholarship award amount, please view the Estimated Award Amounts Document. The estimated amount is dependent on the school district where the student resides. The 2026/27 estimated award amounts will be posted when they are announced by the state legislators.

To be eligible for participation in the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program, the student must have legal settlement in Indiana.* For the 2026/27 school year, there will NOT be an income requirement for families; everyone will be eligible for the Choice Scholarship, but families must complete a few steps to receive the scholarship.

Steps for Applying for Indiana Choice Scholarship at Cathedral

In order to apply for Choice Scholarships, families must:

  • Apply for admission and enroll or re-enroll to Cathedral for the 2026/27 School Year
  • Families will NOT need to apply for the Choice Scholarship; Cathedral submits the application on behalf of each family.
  • New for the 2026/27 School Year - each family will be required to upload a “Proof of Residency” document to your Parent Portal as part of your Choice documentation. One of the following documents will suffice:
    • Eligible documents include drivers license, bank statement, credit card bill, utility bill statement, loan statement, lease agreement, mortgage contract, property deed, tax bill, voter registration, USPS change of address confirmation, homeowner’s, renters, auto, health insurance policies/cards

After September 1, everyone will receive an email with instructions to review and e-sign their Choice documents to complete the application process. By not completing this task, you will be held responsible for the Choice amount as part of your Cathedral tuition.
