Academic Support Programs

Cathedral High School takes great pride in preparing students across all academic levels to succeed in college and beyond. Led by Cathedral's Vice Principal for Academic Support Brett Blondi, Cathedral offers many programs to support students. The Language Support Program (LSP) is designed to aid students with language-processing disorders to learn and succeed in high school, college, and life. LSP classes are offered in all three academic levels and help students improve their reading comprehension and study skills. The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is designed to aid students with diagnosed learning differences and provide students with a individualized education plan. The LRC provides students with a physical space for testing accommodations, academic coaching, and tutoring sessions that are all supervised by a specialized Cathedral educator.
