Greetings from Cathedral High School’s Counseling Department!

Cathedral’s counseling office provides a caring, developmentally-appropriate, preventative, and comprehensive counseling program that integrates Holy Cross values and supports students in achieving their academic, social/emotional, and college and career goals. Cathedral’s counselors offer guidance in a nurturing environment for all students in our diverse population. Our goal is to ensure our students develop a healthy sense of self and relationships with others, preparing them for lives of leadership, faith, and service.

The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to provide you and your family with important counseling-related information to help your student(s) have a successful school year.

Please feel free to contact any one of us if you have any questions. We are here to help!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Senior Parent Night will be rescheduled. that was planned for  Thursday, August 29th. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologize. We are working on setting a new date and will keep you posted with updates as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

“The existence of each individual is deeply tied to that of others: life is not simply time that passes; life is a time for interactions.”

—Pope Francis, Brothers and Sisters to Us

Family is one of our Holy Cross Core Values at Cathedral High School. Because we believe that our Cathedral family is built on a collaboration between school and home, throughout the 2024-2025 school year we will strive to provide resources that help our students and families grow deeper in their faith life and understand the connection between our Catholic and Holy Cross roots and various aspects of school life. With the upcoming Parent Nights, be on the lookout for faith and spiritual resources that help support these topics in the context of our Catholic faith.

If you or someone you know are in need of prayer, please submit a community prayer request.
