‪Congratulations to the We The People team on placing first at the state meet! ‬The team put in extra hours after school and on weekends to bring home the trophy!
WTP previously won a state title in 2016-17 and were runner-up in 2018-19.
WTP promotes civic competence and responsibility. The simulated congressional hearing makes teaching and learning exciting for both students and teachers. This program enjoys active support from state bar associations and foundations, and other educational, professional, business, and community organizations across the nation. Since the inception of the We the People program in 1987, more than 30 million students and 90,000 educators have participated in this course of study.
