Three Cathedral High School students were named Semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Students were selected for their academic success, school and community activities, leadership abilities, employment, and honors and awards received. Semifinalists represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.

Finalists will be announced in February 2022 and will be eligible for scholarships worth up to $2,500. Merit Scholar designees are selected on the basis of their skills, accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
