Cathedral High School is excited to announce John O'Hara '02 is the new coach for both the boys and girls track and field programs. Coach O'Hara has been our boys coach for several years. This combined coaching staff will optimize our ability to train athletes, both male and female, to their fullest potential. These teams will still compete both separately and co-ed, depending on the meet.
Shelbi Smeathers will lead Cathedral's cross country team. Coach Smeathers has experience as an assistant coach for Cathedral's track and cross country teams and ran both track and cross country at Butler University. Cathedral's longtime girls cross country coach, Mark Doctor, is staying with the program as an assistant to both the cross country and track programs.
