USA Triathlon names Gillian Cridge '20 the 2018 Junior Women's Elite Triathlete of the Year! Cridge is also a USA Triathlon Junior Elite All-American!
Cridge wonTriathlon Junior Elite National Championships in West Chester, Ohio. and the the USA Triathlon High School National Championships in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She earned silver medals in the junior division of two international events, the Sarasota CAMTRI Junior North American Championships and the Brasilia CAMTRI Junior American Championships.
Cridge told USA Triathlon, “I am truly humbled to win this award. I would not have been able to have such a successful 2018 season without the support and encouragement from my family and friends, my coach Ian O’Brien, Cathedral High School, and USA Triathlon.”
