Dave Worland Named Senior Vice President for Mission and Advancement

Cathedral High School is pleased to announce Dave Worland has been named Cathedral’s Senior Vice President for Mission and Advancement.

“Dave Worland exemplifies the mission of our school,” says Cathedral President Robert Bridges. “Dave is a man of faith who has already dedicated nearly two decades to Cathedral’s success. I’m excited about the energy and expertise he will bring to our already outstanding advancement department.”

Worland’s new position is critical as Cathedral wraps up her Centennial Capital Campaign and begins construction on the Innovation Center. Worland will play a crucial role in fundraising and promoting Cathedral High School’s mission in the community. He joins the school’s advancement team, headed by Nicole Farrell ‘98 Beasley, Executive Vice President for Advancement.

“I am thrilled about this opportunity,” says Worland. “I already spend a great deal of time talking to donors and sharing our Cathedral story. This new position makes it official!”

Worland has served as Cathedral’s principal for 17 years and was recently named one of Indy’s Most Pivotal Leaders. He and his wife Janet have three children, all of whom are Cathedral graduates. Dave and Janet Worland are members of St. Matthew Catholic Church.

The search for a new principal will begin in the next two weeks. Worland will transition into his advancement role once Cathedral hires a new principal.
