Congratulates to Alijah Poston '25 on receiving the Center for Leadership Development's Torchbearer Prize For Youth Excellence! Each year, CLD leadership selects one male and one female who strongly embodies the CLD Principles for Success.
When asked about Alijah, CLD leaders said, "Alijah is truly exceptional. His humility shines through, yet his presence commands attention the moment he enters a room, embodying greatness in everything he does. His intelligence, character, and unwavering commitment to his future, along with his leadership in school and community, define the qualities we aspire to see in every CLD student."
Alijah is an Honor Roll student, Black Student Union leader, Peer Minister, and four-year track and cross country athlete. He also volunteers in the community and is an exemplary example of our Holy Cross Values.
