All Cathedral students will receive a year book in the fall. You do not need to purchase a yearbook. The cost is built into your child's tuition.
Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians.
As we wrap up another school year, I want to take a moment to thank our educators for their incredible dedication, perseverance, zeal, and grit. Our work at Cathedral goes far beyond academics, athletics, and the arts. It forms students, shapes their characters, and strengthens their faith lives. What our educators do is more than a job! It's a vocation, and I am truly grateful to witness the impact our educators make in the lives of our students every day.
I'd like to share just a few highlights from the 2024-2025 school year:
- Our Math and English departments rallied around colleagues facing health challenges this year, stepping up gracefully and professionally to ensure our students continued to thrive!
- St. André Projects continue to grow and flourish under Cole Hepp's leadership, giving students opportunities to connect learning with real-world impact.
- This year's J-Term included a variety of life-changing opportunities for students.
- Irish Connections, under Marc Quaranta's leadership, continues to expand and strengthen communication that enriches our Cathedral community.
- Our revised daily schedule brought positive changes, and I'm grateful for the collaboration and ongoing efforts to keep improving the student and educators' experience.
- Our retreats continue to be transformative experiences for our students. The new Sophomore Retreat received rave reviews thanks to the incredible work of our Campus Ministry team.
- A special thank you to Fr. Jomy and Fr. Geoff, who have brought the consistent sacraments to life at Cathedral. Thanks, too, to Sister Mary Ann and Brother Matt for their beautiful witness to our people (young and old alike.)
- The Grotto has been such a wonderful addition to our campus as a visible sign of our faith and a sacred space for students, educators, and families to gather for moments of silence, grief, gratitude, or hope! I look forward to seeing the generational impact the Grotto will make for years to come!
- We celebrated the Class of 2025 with a beautiful graduation ceremony at the Fishers Event Center. The 275 graduates reported scholarships of more than $55 million!
I am so proud of our students and educators and all that was accomplished this year, and I look forward to Cathedral continuing to answer the call to greatness. It is truly an honor to walk this journey with you and your family.
This is the last Parent Newsletter of the 2024-2025 school year. We will reach out again as we get closer to August. Please remind your student to keep up with the summer reading assignment.
As summer begins, I hope you and your family take time to rest, recharge, and reconnect with the people and activities that energize you. Please know you are in my prayers, as I hope I am also in yours.
God bless,
Mark Matthews
Principal

An Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you,
May to wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rains fall soft upon your fields.
Until we meet again, my friend, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Please pray
For our seniors as they prepare for their next adventure. May they continue to lean on their faith and remember that Cathedral is always "home."
For our underclassmen as they begin their summer vacation. May they have a fun, safe, and restful break.
For all those in our Cathedral family who are suffering, may they feel God's loving care and support from family and friends.
