Principal's Message
Dear Cathedral Parents and Guardians,
It was nice to have everyone back on the Hill following Wednesday's Asynchronous Learning Day. As a reminder, if we close or delay the start of school, you will receive an email and a text. If you or your student did not receive a text, click here to fill out a form so that we can update your information. Also, weather-related closings and delays will be posted on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds, and on all the local television station websites.
Since we were not on the Hill yesterday, seniors who did not turn in their cap and gown order forms today can do so tomorrow during their religion class. As a reminder, diplomas will be ordered next month. If your child's name is not accurate on PowerSchool, please email Katie Lewis at klewis@gocathedral.com to ensure your child's name is spelled correctly on the diploma. Also, please refer to the Senior Parent Info page on the website for information and updates regarding Prom, Baccalaureate, and Graduation. The Senior Parent Info page link will also be under Quicklinks in the blue section of every Parent Newsletter.
Next week we will start our celebration of Catholic Schools Week with an All-School Mass at 10:15 a.m. in the Welch Activity Center. Catholic schools develop the whole child by teaching and nourishing them physically, mentally, and spiritually. At Cathedral, our Mission is to transform the hearts and minds of a diverse group of students to have the competence to see and the courage to act. Thank you for the privilege of teaching and nurturing your child. It is a blessing we don't take lightly.
God bless, and Go Irish!
