Principal's Message
Dear Cathedral Parents and Guardians,
It's hard to believe that Monday, May 16, is the last day of regular classes for the Class of 2022. I am incredibly proud of these students who've shown tremendous grace and resilience over the last four years. Congratulations to them and congratulations to you, their parents and guardians. It has been a blessing to partner with you in this process.
If you have a senior, please click here and read the updated Senior Parent Info link. It includes information regarding finals, graduation practice, the Irish 500, and graduation. We've also included the link to order graduation photos. If you have loved ones who can't make it to graduation, please share this link with them for the live stream. As a reminder, Commencement is Sunday, May 22, at 1 p.m. at Brunette Park.
Here are a few key bullet points to further explain the schedule for finals week:
- Monday ends the cycle with a Day 5 - All students, freshmen-seniors, should be on campus.
- Seniors only come to class Tuesday-Friday if they have a final in a particular class. They can only show up for that class and then leave campus.
- Seniors who do not have a final in a class are excused and should not be on campus. This same rule is not applicable to underclassmen who do not have a final in any given class. Freshmen-juniors must attend class during finals week. The finals schedule for freshmen, sophomores and juniors is outlined below in the "Current Parent News" section of this newsletter.
If you have not re-enrolled, please do so as soon as possible so that we can plan for next school year. You may click here to re-enroll or check out the "Current Parent News" section of this newsletter to find out more information and fill out the form. Also, click here to find the updated 2022/23 school year calendar.
Again, there is a lot of information in this newsletter about our seniors, but I hope you know how proud I am of all of our students! It is a privilege to walk this journey with your family. Good luck to all of our students on their final exams, and let's finish the year strong!
Go Irish!
