Principal's Message
Dear Cathedral Parents and Guardians,
Today is one of my favorite days of the school year! After our All-School Mass, I had the privilege of congratulating our Summa, Magna, and Cum Laude graduates for the Class of 2024. These students were freshmen during Covid, so the start to their high school experience was not quite what they imagined. With that said, these students have shown tremendous grit and perseverance during their high school career. I am so proud of each and every one of them. Please help me congratulate the following scholars:
Summa Cum Laude (Top 5% in alphabetical order)
Johnathan Beachamp, Sarah Coleman, Chloe Cox, Anne Crabtree, Ainsley Danilson, Rachel Dubbink, Mary Hughes, Daniel Kent, Oliver Koerwitz, Taylor Lewis, Maya Marshalleck, Katherine McCauley, Jack O'Brien, Rachel Rodecap, Nicholas Schneider, Emily Shea, Evelyn Wager, and Andrew Whelan
Magna Cum Laude (Top 10% in alphabetical order)
Andrew Adams, Lillian Art, Abigail Dager, William Fox, Scott George, Reilly Gilmore, Seth Green, Julia Hurley, Jordan Peter, Paul Sheddy, and Teresa Wojtalik
Cum Laude (Top 15% in alphabetical order)
Luke Blanchet, Rosalena Duncan, Lauren Goodman, Neely Greene, Kylie Huckzo, Landon Korous, Alejandro Lozano, Lucille Marquart, Nichole Mayo, Julia Morrell, Samuel Parr, Emma Schnur, and Luke Spencer
These students are not just amazing scholars. They are servant leaders, musicians, thespians, athletes, and so much more! We educate the hearts and minds of our students, and these students are the epitome of our Holy Cross values! Congratulations to our Summa, Magna, and Cum Laude graduates on answering the call to greatness!
Activities are going to ramp up once we return from spring break. We are looking forward to the spring musical, the Band Concert, the Choir Concert, spring athletics, and so much more! It's a wonderful time of the year! Please be sure to carefully read the Parent Newsletter each week. Prom details are located in the Current News Section of this newsletter. If your student is enrolled in an AP class, please do not schedule appointments during their exam time. Here is the AP test schedule. We'll continue to post Senior Class Information in the Quicklinks section of each newsletter. As a reminder, senior yearbook ads are due April 1. Please go to Yearbookforever.com today and purchase an ad for your senior today!
I would like to once again offer this prayer for those who are traveling this spring break:
Protect me today in all my travels along the road's way. Give your warning sign if danger is near so that I may stop while the path is clear. Be at my window and direct me through when the vision blurs from out of the blue. Carry me safely to my destined place, like you carried Christ in your close embrace. - Prayer to St. Christopher - Patron Saint of Travel
I pray all of you have a safe and restful spring break and return to the Hill on March 25 ready to finish the year strong!
God bless, and Go Irish!

The state of Indiana is now requiring that every senior file the FAFSA or Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The current FAFSA opened a few weeks ago, and it is important to file as early as you can for a few reasons.
