Session 1 June 7 - July 2 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Early Arrival: 7:30 a.m.
Late Pick–Up: 4:00 p.m.
Dress Code: As previously announced, all summer school students are to follow the “school year” dress code. The dress code can be found on page 22 of the 2009-2010 Blue Book. A summary: All students must wear the Cathedral long or short sleeved logo shirts available only in the Cathedral bookstore. Only a Cathedral uniform sweatshirt or sweater may be worn over the logo shirt. Only a plain white t-shirt may be worn under the Cathedral logo shirt. Colored t-shirts will not be permitted. Long sleeved t-shirts are not permitted. Shirts are to be tucked in at all times. Cathedral’s uniform pants are khaki pants that are ordered from Campus Outfitters uniform company. Pants should be worn properly around the waist. Pants that are altered or cut in any way will not be acceptable. Dress shoes or tennis shoes must be worn in school. Open toed or open heeled shoes will not be permitted. Socks must be worn at all times. Hats, sunglasses, head wraps, dew-rags, beads and hair picks are not permitted. As during the regular school year, Fridays will be “activity days,” so Cathedral spirit t-shirts or sweatshirts may be worn with uniform pants. Uniform questions? PE Students may wear any shorts with a Cathedral spirit shirt or a solid colored t-shirt. Tennis shoes are required.
Books: Books required for summer school classes may be purchased online at mbsdirect.net or at the Cathedral Connection Book Swap on Thursday, May 27th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 28th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For a list of summer school books and bookstore hours, please visit our website at www.cathedral-irish.org and click the On Campus tab. The bookstore will be open from 7:30 – 3:00 on June 7th and June 8th.
Students who are attending both morning and afternoon sessions should bring a sack lunch. There are NO vending machines available during Summer School.
Attendance: Due to the shortened schedule for summer classes, 100% attendance is expected. If an emergency arises and your student must be absent from school, please call the attendance line and report the absence. That number is 543-4942, then press #1. Final exams will be on Friday, July 2nd; therefore, this is a mandatory day of summer school.
