Club Description:
Best Buddies is a volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Futsal Outreach

 

Club Description:
Futsal Outreach strives to help elementary school students on the west side of Indianapolis improve their school performance by engaging them in fellowship, tutoring, and soccer on a weekly basis.

Green Team – Recycling & Environmental Club 

 

Club Description:
The recycling branch of this club actively recycles on Cathedral’s campus on a weekly basis. The Environmental Service Learning branch of the club brainstorms and advocates for environmental and green focused service learning

Habitat For Humanity

Cathedral’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity involves students in the work of eliminating poverty housing from the world and providing shelter for those in need.

Interact

 

Club Description:
Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact’s mission, through working with others, is developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work, and
advancing international understanding and goodwill.

Lifesavers

 

Club Description:
Lifesavers is an organization dedicated to pro-life issues, the power of prayer, and living a virtuous life. This student-led group works to spread understanding of the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.

Liturgical Choir

 

Club Description:
Liturgical Choir is a group comprised of vocalists and musicians who gather together to spread the word of God through music. This ensemble performs at all-school liturgies and prayer services and helps bring together the Cathedral family in worship.

Club Description:
Liturgy Planning Committee is a group of students dedicated to sharing the Gospel message with their peers. Group members assist in planning, preparing, and putting on Cathedral’s all-school liturgies and prayer services.

Club Description:
Mentoring Magic is a one-on-one mentoring program that provides a family atmosphere and positive reinforcement for children who are homeless, impoverished, and in transition.

Project Irish (Instilling Respect in Stopping Harassment) is a group dedicated to educating students, faculty, and staff on the effects of bullying.

Club Description:
Riley Dance Marathon’s mission is to raise awareness about Riley Hospital, a local hospital with a national reputation as a leader in "improving the health and well-being of children everywhere."

Service Learning Council

 

Club Description:
The Service Learning Council works to promote service learning at Cathedral High School. Service Learning engages students, faculty, staff, and diverse communities by integrating intentional service opportunities into the academic curriculum in order to respond to community needs.
